Pepper crab with Norwegian snow crab

Snow crab meets asian flavours in this take on the classic black pepper crab. Sticky, delicious and a dish that will leave you wanting more.

Preparation

  • Toast the black peppercorns in a pan and crack them. Finely chop the garlic and the soy beans.
  • Melt butter and add garlic. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add black pepper, sugar, sambal oelek, sesame oil, soy beans and white wine, cook for another 4-5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir inn ketjap manis and lime juice to taste.
  • Cut and split the snow crab legs.
  • Heat neutral oil in a large frying pan and add the crab legs. Fry for 3-4 minutes turning the legs a few times. Add the pepper crab sauce and toss well before serving.
  • Garnish with finely sliced spring onions, chopped coriander and serve with lime wedges.
